In today’s Bolivia, you can’t attend to school with long hair if you’re a guy, neither finding a job would be an easy task, because it is not “acceptable.” The indigenous attires now are a mixture of past traditions and has a lot of Spanish influence, most indigenous men today won’t have long hair. Here in America, in NYC people refer to me as Spanish, which I find hilarious compared to how we view Spanish back in my country, my friends like it, (not my ex tho, she always made sure that I get a haircut every two weeks haha). Some jobs require you to have short hair, but I guess you won’t have a hard time finding one, most people are okay with it and they actually love my hair and they compliment me a lot about it!
